Certificate on Boating and Sailing
Sailing Academy Hong Kong (SAHK) offers an innovative and comprehensive one academic year
Certificate Course on Boating and Sailing to bring up competent day skippers (or captains of the pleasure or sailing boats)
for students aged 18+.
This is a superb year of personal and career development for students taking a gap year before, during or after university.
We understand that each student has a different style of learning and we aim to accommodate all of our students.
The Individual Education Plan (IEP) forms the backbones of the course to cater for each student's needs.
Less than 50% of the time will be spent on IEP, self-directed learning, theories, documentation and formative assessments facilitated by coaches, mentors and tutors.
More than 50% of the time will be spent on experiential learning, workshops, practical operation of boats and internships.

Certificate Course on Boating and Sailing

The teacher in charge of the IEP delivery is a native English speaker. You can survive the course and improve your English even if you have failed the English subject in HKDSE.)

Marine police/ Fireman (need a pass in HKDSE or Yijin)
